Kick your stress goodbye

Kickboxing is a fantastic way to get your heartrate going, as well as release some mental irritation.  I love kickboxing; put some 5FDP or Disturbed behind it and I am a sweaty mess by the end of it.  Less impact on your joints than running and the added benefit of not needing any equipment or being in public make this a great way to stay in shape.   Many gyms offer kickboxing classes and even better, kickboxing self defense, which many women should know in my opinion.
My main kickboxing workouts are MMA Fit and Jillian Michaels (you’ll see a trend here).  MMA style workouts seem to push a bit harder than other kickboxing workouts I have tried.  I do suggest starting off a bit slow, as some moves may be hard at first, especially if you don’t know the lingo of the trainer you are following.  Want to really bump it up, get you some weighted gloves.  I have a pair that are 2.5 pounds each and no matter what workout I am doing, they add a whole new level of blissful pain!
